Sikel town
Another town named Apollonia (Illyria) was a colony of Corcyra, and it issued
coins with the same ethnic; since some of these latter coins were found
also in Sicily, they were wrongly attributed to the Sicilian city.

307 BC Agathocles of Syracuse conquers the city and most of the inhabitants are killed.
Roman Period Apollonia becomes a civitas decumana.
